Vietnam Highlights 8 Days Ex Hanoi or Saigon 2 Day Mekong Extension Available DAY ONE On arrival at Hanoi International Airport met and transfered to hotel. Afternoon Old quarter and Hoan Kiem Lake walking tour.
DAY TWO Half-day city tour to visit some of Hanoi's historical sights. Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum and Ho Chi Minh's house, One Pillar Pagoda and the Temple of Literature. Afternoon at leisure for shopping or personal sightseeing (B)
DAY THREE Transfer to Hanoi Airport for the flight to Hue in Central Vietnam. On arrival meet and transfered to Hotel. After checking in a tour highlights this Imperial City once home to the Emperors when they ruled Vietnam. The tour includes a visit to the Imperial Citadel and the Emperor's Tomb (B)
DAY FOUR Today tour over the spectacular Hai Van Pass, rated by National Geographic as one of the 50 'must-do' journeys in the world. Visits to Marble Mountain, China beach (have a swim if you wish) and the Cham Museum in Danang. On arrival in Hoi An a short walking tour in and around the ancient buildings and monuments (B) DAY FIVE Free day in Hoi An. During the 17th and 18th centuries Hoi An was a major Asian trading centre and is now a popular highlight of any visit to Vietnam and a wonderful town for getting clothes tailor made or for buying souvenirs, Hoi An also boasts an excellent beach nearby, perhaps hire a bicycle or a car & driver to get there (B)
DAY SIX Morning at leisure before a midday transfer to Danang airport for the flight to Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon). On arrival transfer to hotel, the afternoon is at leisure to enjoy the downtown shops, markets and restaurants.(B)
DAY SEVEN Discover Saigon's major attractions. In the morning travel to Cu Chi, approx. 30 kms from Saigon. In the afternoon the City Tour includes the Cholon (China Town) Wholesale market, Thien Hau Pagoda, Notre Dame Cathedral and the War Museum (B)

OPTIONAL MEKONG DELTA 2 DAY EXTENSION - price on application DAY EIGHT Depart Ho Chi Minh City and tour through the fruit bowl of Vietnam to the Mekong River. Board a private boat for a trip across the river to meander through estuaries overgrown with tropical jungle. Visits are made to Orchards and Bonsai Gardens with the opportunity to taste tropical fruits and witness home industries such as rice paper making. DAY NINE Continue exploring the Mekong on your return to Saigon with a stop at the colourful Cao Dai Temple enroute. Overnight Ho Chi Minh for that last minute shopping (B)
