Situated near the top of a lush tropical mountain with amazing panoramic views across
the clear blue bay of Chaweng, the Sandalwood Luxury Villas Resort & Spa provides

The resort itself is comprised of 8 separate buildings laced throughout landscaped gardens and intricate
stone walkways offering
a choice of two separate infinity swimming pools located in different villa areas. The two distinct
villa areas are composed of 5 villas each. Villa Camellia also has its own private pool. In the south
villa area, Villas Orchid and Gardenia share one villa building as do Villas Jasmine and Plumeria.
Villa Lotus stands alone while in the North Villa compound, Villas Amarin and Camellia share the largest
and most prominent villa building. Villas Malee and Jumpee share the remaining villa building both
overlooking the pool, while Villa Leelawadee stands alone at the northern most point of the property.
FOOD & BEVERAGE
One of the real pleasures of Thailand is its delicious cuisine and Sandalwood Restaurant, under
the guidance of renowned local chef, specialises in creating authentic regional dishes with a
modern twist. The menu has been designed to offer a real range of Thai flavours, from aromatic
soups to wonderfully spiced curries; each and every dish is cooked to order using the very
finest fresh local ingredients.
At Sandalwood Restaurant we also offer the opportunity to learn how to create authentic Thai
dishes. Cooking
Classes are available for complete beginners as well as those who are already familiar with
Thai cookery and require advanced level training. The classes can be taken on a one-on-one basis or in
small groups of up to four persons. Every student has the chance to choose what he or she wants to cook
and the lessons start with a trip to the local market accompanied by the Chef. These classed provide
a great opportunity to enjoy the flavours of your trip when you return home.
